Our Crucible Fume Tube is an experiment in creating prep for lampworkers. We have taken clear blanks and individually fumed each one before dipping into a pot of clear and pulling into tubing - because of the varying nature of silver and gold fume each pull comes out unique with its own shades of yellow, blues, greens, and oranges. We try to keep similar pulls together in pounds but please expect variation in color between individual tubes when purchasing.
These tube pulls are fumed with 24k gold and 99% fine silver, although some tubes may have much more or less of each type of fume.
This was a fun and exciting color experiment for us and we would love to hear your feedback once you try it out!
